You have written a fantastic speech but then you are in front of your audience and you freeze…

  • Where should you stand?
  • What should you do with your hands?
  • Should you move, should you not?

Do these thoughts sound familiar? You’re in luck! Our next workshop in the series ‘Speak with Confidence’ is all about body language and dealing with your nerves.

Join us on Tuesday 18th August to learn about body language and using the stage for your next presentation.

Of course, the best way to become a better and more confident speaker is practice, practice, practice. That’s why we will also have some off the cuff speaking during the workshop.

About the trainer

The trainer for this workshop will be Valérie van Kemenade, she is a member of JCI Edinburgh and very passionate about public speaking. She was a finalist in the JCI European Public Speaking Championships last year and was part of the JCI Scotland team that became the first ever online (unofficial) JCI Europe Debating Champions. She has given many speeches at events and conferences and is also a trainer in her day job.
