Self-worth for Leaders

‘Inspiring leaders’ have a great sense of empathy – they listen and care about others. They are not ashamed of asking for advice, showing vulnerability and admitting, “I don’t know.” They know who they are and are aware of their qualities, strengths and weaknesses. Could their behaviour be related to their healthy sense of self-worth?

Join us on Tuesday, 24th August as guest speaker Deborah Beriro shares her expert advice and insights on “Self-worth for Leaders”!

Deborah is the founder of Wise Mind Counseling and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. Her one-hour, Q&A-style webinar will cover:

  • What is self-worth and what determines it?
  • What is the difference between self-worth, self-esteem and self-confidence?
  • What does it mean to have a strong sense of self-worth?
  • What are the factors that make you have a strong (or weak) self-worth?
  • What can you do on a daily basis to improve your self-worth?

This is a free event as part of JCI Scotland’s ‘Inspiring Leaders’ programme, a programme that focuses on providing leadership and skills development support to young professionals to help them achieve their career and personal goals. The hosting of this event has also been made possible through JCI Aberdeen’s collaboration with Rise & Care, a nonprofit community group in Florida, whose mission is to empower mother-leaders.

She has been trained in various evidence-based modalities: CBT, DBT, REBT, Gottman, NARM, etc. and as a result, is considered an eclectic therapist. She tailors her interventions to the client’s needs and their presenting problems.
